Step Pyramid of Djoser
Description
Designed by the architect Imhotep around 2650 BCE, this is the earliest colossal stone building in Egypt and the first pyramid. It rose in six stepped layers to a height of 62 meters, revolutionizing architecture forever. The complex includes temples, courtyards, and ceremonial structures.
